    I’m not 100% what sumocore is – so let me introduce you to ATOMIFUJI and their new cassette ‘Pure Chankocore Attack’ – but the cut ‘n paste, black and white artwork on this cassette certainly shines through to what sumocore might be.

    I love cassette releases like this, you can tell exactly what the cassette is going to sound like blasting through the box.

    Pull your pants up, head to the nearest sushi bar and get ready to destroy!

    Punishing blasts of fury and feedback! As far as I can tell this is a 2 person attack on your senses.

    This will go right through you in the best way possible.

    Fuzzy, noisy and evil sounding!

    No concern for anyone’s feelings, except to melt into your brain.

    Following along the lines of GODSTOMPER, maybe even a little fuzzier, but you get that 2 person unit feel.

    This reminds me a lot of when CHARLES BRONSON and bands of that ilk were coming around, except the vocals on this are way more evil, and it’s not as fast as the aforementioned bands, but these folks in ATOMIFUJI stand out all their own!
